Ipsica™ Directions for Use

Ipsica is an unscented, unflavored and unadulterated blend of natural oils. It contains no added perfumes, fragrances, preservatives or dyes. Its subtle pleasing scent is the result of its unique natural ingredients.

Ipsica is extremely thick because it contains beeswax and lanolin. Both of these protect the outer layers of skin and prevent Ipsica from washing off in plain water. This means that the protection will last longer than lighter balms and lotions.

Ipsica also contains the lighter olive, almond, avocado and apricot kernel oils that penetrate the skin and provide deep nourishment.

Ipsica, contains vitamin E and D (from lanolin) which act as natural preservatives, delaying the oxidative process. One jar of Ipsica can last a very long time and will remain fresh for many months after being opened, if stored in a cool dark place. To prolong shelf life keep it away from high temperatures, and direct sun.

Uses:

  • Dry hands, face, skin and feet

Applying Ipsica™

The most common mistake using Ipsica is to try to use too much of it at once. Unlike most hand creams and lotions, Ipsica is designed so that a very small amount is sufficient to transform skin into a smooth silky softness. Ipsica can be used on any part of the body. The proper amount will leave a slight feeling of oil on the skin, that quickly softens as it is absorbed, leaving it smooth, soft and protected.

For the Hands, Skin and Face and Most of the Body:

The best method to apply Ipsica is to simply push the tip of a fingernail gently across the surface of the balm allowing a small quantity to build up on top. Scrape off enough to fill 1/4 of the nail bed. Only a small amount is needed for most applications.

Spread this small quantity of Ipsica directly into the palm of the other hand and press both palms together to warm it to body temperature. Continue to rub together until it has spread evenly between your fingers and palms.

When the Ipsica is fully warmed, and coats the fingers and palms of both hands its ready to transfer it to any other part of the body. Simply massage your face, neck, shoulders, arms, or legs and the balm will be transferred.

Smooth your palms and fingers over the skin in the desired area and gently work the Ipsica directly in. Only a light coating is needed, so spread your fingers out over a wide area.

If more coverage is desired, simply repeat the process with another small quantity.

If the skin feels greasy or oily after application, then too much may have been applied. Wait a minute to allow the oils to penetrate, but consider using less the next time.

Lips and Feet:

Sometimes it is more practical to apply Ipsica directly onto a particular area (particularly the lips) without warming it in the palms first. Remember that this direct method of application may require even less balm. It might be harder to spread around, so work it in carefully with your fingers or hands to thoroughly coat the area. Begin with a small amount and add more if needed. It usually takes a lot less than you think.
